Urban Towers is a continuing exploration of monumental urban architecture. In my previous exhibition, Architexture: The Chicago Series, I focused on segments of skyscrapers, high-rises and office towers in order to illustrate their inherent aesthetics. Urban Towers presents a more wholistic view of such monumental structures.

The photographs in this exhibit depict two viewpoints. Some images capture the solitary splendor of these architectural constructs, while others show the juxtaposition of these structures to each other in an urban tapestry of shapes and textures. At times the structures are visually harmonious together, sometimes they strike a discordant note. In all cases, my goal was to capture their majesty and power.
